Raised in rural Pennsylvania and professionally trained in NYC, Abbey Mitchell brings a unique perspective to cake design. She learned to make cakes from the older generations in her family and has coupled that knowledge with her love of nature and art. Abbey's approach to her work embodies the idea of "vintage modern", not as a trend, but as an authentic representation of the way she approaches her work.
Her baking is made with love and simple, high-quality, local ingredients--just like your grandma's kitchen with sophisticated design and decorating--a cake that not only tastes good but looks stunning.
